Bathroom Wall
This is a room that I have put on the back burner for almost two years now. It's my basement bathroom. It goes unused for the most part but I finally decided to do a little something about it and here's what I came up with.
I basically just doodled on the back wall with a pencil and then painted over it with plain old craft paint. This project cost me ZERO dollars since I had left over paint from another project. I had already purchased these framed prints at a yard sale last year for $5.00. There are still some things I'd like to do here, but only when the cash allows me.
For now it makes me happy and is a nice change.

Awesome!! I love this, what kind of 'pencil' did you use? TTFN ~Marydon
ReplyDeleteOohhh!!! Love it! How creative!
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely! I like freehand stuff like that. :) Pretty wall color too. Visiting from Kimba's party. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, it looks lovely! It adds such visual interest. Great job!
ReplyDeleteLovely! I love scrolly designs. It looks like wallpaper. I can't even do a doodle like that because I'd never keep the size consistent.
ReplyDeletewow i wish my freehand looked that great!
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing
Thanks...I'm glad ya'll like it. I just used a plain old pencil, nothing special.
ReplyDeleteVery nice doodling!
ReplyDeleteLuv what you did wth the bathroom wall!:) I am so happy I stumbled across your blog as I luv to stop in now & then to see what you are up to next & be inspired by you 1 more time:) Like I once told someone, what you do wth crafts/scrapbooking/etc can also be tied into some home decor too. I have some really lite pastel colored frames that I am using scrapbook paper, chipboard, some paint, crafty things & etc that I will make my own pics that are arranged around a straw hat that I had added some flowers & lace to. Anyway....blah blah blah...again, great job, keep it up & thanks sooo much for sharing!!:)
ReplyDeleteThat looks great!
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty awesome "doodling". Not sure I could make doodling look like that! Great job.
ReplyDeleteI love your doodling! Visiting from Kimbas....
ReplyDeleteVery unique idea. I bet the room appears a little larger now since making that a focal wall draws the eye to the end of the room. Great idea!

ReplyDeleteI did the same scrolls on my daughters bathroom (see one of my first posts ever on my blog) and at the end of each hot glued a rhinestone! I love it. It's quirky and whimsical. Love your colors!
