Bathroom Wall

This is a room that I have put on the back burner for almost two years now. It's my basement bathroom. It goes unused for the most part but I finally decided to do a little something about it and here's what I came up with.
I basically just doodled on the back wall with a pencil and then painted over it with plain old craft paint. This project cost me ZERO dollars since I had left over paint from another project. I had already purchased these framed prints at a yard sale last year for $5.00. There are still some things I'd like to do here, but only when the cash allows me.
For now it makes me happy and is a nice change.

  5. Lovely! I love scrolly designs. It looks like wallpaper. I can't even do a doodle like that because I'd never keep the size consistent.

  8. Luv what you did wth the bathroom wall!:) I am so happy I stumbled across your blog as I luv to stop in now & then to see what you are up to next & be inspired by you 1 more time:) Like I once told someone, what you do wth crafts/scrapbooking/etc can also be tied into some home decor too. I have some really lite pastel colored frames that I am using scrapbook paper, chipboard, some paint, crafty things & etc that I will make my own pics that are arranged around a straw hat that I had added some flowers & lace to. Anyway....blah blah blah...again, great job, keep it up & thanks sooo much for sharing!!:)

  11. Very unique idea. I bet the room appears a little larger now since making that a focal wall draws the eye to the end of the room. Great idea!

  12. I did the same scrolls on my daughters bathroom (see one of my first posts ever on my blog) and at the end of each hot glued a rhinestone! I love it. It's quirky and whimsical. Love your colors!
