I finally purchased a ruffler foot for my sewing machine. Man I love that thing, although it's pretty intimidating at first. What a contraption! This purse was just an experiment to try it out, but my daughter loves it.

We've worked with ruffler attachments for years. We made lace Victorian pillows made with volumes of ruffled lace. If it's the same ones we used, they need to be replaced fairly frequently but they do a terrific job. Of course, we were doing thousands of yards of lace.... My Mom still makes those lacey pillows, too, at 100 years old!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to you. Linda
I will be featuring this purse in the party wrap-up...look for it! Thanks for sharing.
